My Recent Works

It’s been a while since I last updated this blog but that does not mean I stopped accepting blog design jobs.

I still accept blog design projects so please don’t let the scarcity of blog posts here discourage you to contact me.

Here are my latest blog design projects. Please click on the photos to see the actual websites.

Recent Blog Design Projects

Since I came out of my maternity leave and started designing again, I’ve been getting my fair share of inquiries but they almost always lose interest as soon as I tell them that I need two weeks to complete a design. So when Miss Tsien, Meghan of Lady in Lima, and Claudia of Pretty Temptations decided that they still want me to work with them on their blog designs, I was thrilled.

All three clients were very much involved in the design process. The good thing about doing a single blog design in two weeks is that the parties have plenty of time. I, as the designer, have enough time to create the design and they, as the clients, have the time to re-think about and decide on all the details they want to included in the design.

Here are the results of our work (click on the image to read what they think about the design).

MissTsien

Miss Tsien is a WordPress powered blog. We designed it with a handwritten heart element and muted pink and gray colors. The result is a simple and beautiful blog design with just the right amount of femininity.

PrettyTemptations

Pretty Temptations is a burst of bright colors that represent the colorful and yummy looking cakes and cupcakes (I bet they also taste great!) that Claudia bakes and blogs about.

LadyinLima

Lady in Lima took advantage of the stark contrast of red and white. Meghan wanted a clean blog with a lot of white spaces. I think that’s exactly what we achieved.

I also did a personal project after completing my clients’ blog design orders. Design Me Pretty got a face-lift—twice!

This is the original look before I changed it to this:

Though I think that the second look is nice and simple, I decided to change it to this:

I think the third design is a bit more professional looking. I want a design that will allow me to put every important thing on the landing page in an organized manner and I think I achieved that with the third design so I am sticking to it.
